You are watching: Vw passat cigarette lighter fuse location

Hey guys, help my mommy out below with she Passat. The 12v tobacco lighter just stopped working in her vehicle this morning. My immediate thought was a fuse. Checked the owners hand-operated which states its fuse 35 on the passenger next of the car, opened up up the fuse panel and also saw nothing in spot 35 . Searched under "cigarette lighter" and also came up with a couple of threads speak it was a various fuse in a different spot. Confirm all fuses and none were blown. Any other concepts what it can be?? many thanks in advance for the help guys!!!

We were reasoning that can be our following step, just wanted to check for a basic fix we may have looked past before taking it apart. I didn"t check the fuses through a check light, simply a intuitive inspection to check out if the connection in the center had broken. Should i inspect with a test light together well?
